Each year, just prior to the start of Spring Training, I get my USA spreadsheet tuned up. I’m referring to my “Master List” of USA players. And throughout the year several tabs get added, weekly stats get updated, player’s teams changed, notes added… It’s a personal almanac that I refer to constantly and spend a considerable amount of time updating.
This year, I have decided to make most of this information available to the public here on my site. The whole reason I started ProspectNation was to share my personal research on USA Baseball players. I figured if I was going to do all of this work, maybe someone else could benefit from it as well and, along the way, raise awareness of USA Baseball.
My spreadsheet Master tab contains 26 categories of information. Too long to post on one table for easy viewing. So I have chopped it up and whittled it down to what I think is the most pertinent reference categories. The lists as shown here are a work in progress and I may add or delete tables/categories at will. I hope you can find some use for the information.
